The Cinderella

The Cinderella is inspired by the classic fairy tale.

Formed with copper and steel the Cinderella is as functional as it is sculptural. Each copper section is heated and formed on the anvil by hand to give a natural and organic finish. The Cinderella can be the centre piece of any outdoor seating area or placed in a flowerbed when not in use.

The copper starts as a flat sheet in a hard state; with heat and creative manipulation it becomes one of the best materials to use for sculptural design.

Incorporated is a thick steel bowl to withstand the test of time. The lid and body of the Cinderella conceals high temperature insulation to slow down heat transfer to the outer surfaces.

The copper and steel is coated with a finishing oil to prevent rust and colour change when left to the elements.

Measuring approximately 80cm across and 70cm tall.
